Attorney Paul Bartleson graduated in 1981 from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelors Degree in English. He has a unique blend of experience, having significant experience in personal injury, insurance, real estate, real estate development and envvironmental law. He has represented victims of car crashes and insurance companies, doctors in medical malpractice cases, develpers and contractors in Superfund cases. For the past 19 years Mr. Bartleson has focused almost exclusively on Bankruptcy matters. It is his hope to resotre American and individuals to ofinancial peace and prosperity. He received his Jurist Doctorite from the McGeorge School of Law in 1985. He has multiiple cases that have been published including:. Sargent v. Schmidt; Brown v. Kennard; In re Bruce Bartleson; Vandermoon v. Sanwong.

The New Bankruptcy Law
The new bankruptcy law brings some unwelcome changes for those who are considering bankruptcy. The goal of bankruptcy is to elimate or reduce your debt. In most cases, you will be able to keep your home and possessions. Some filers with higher incomes won't be allowed to use Chapter 7, but will instead have to repay some of their debt under Chapter 13.
